A dancer who appeared in the hit US series So You Think You Can Dance has said she was the victim of an 'acid attack' while in London.
Korra Obidi, a Nigerian dancer and singer, was admitted to hospital after a substance was reportedly thrown into her face.
The 32-year-old, who appeared on the 2019 series, also said the attacker brandished a knife and slashed her hand.
The incident occurred while she was in the middle of a livestream to fans, and she could be seen washing her face with Coca Cola.
Obidi could be heard saying to a nearby person: 'My face is burning, can I have some Coke to wash it please?'

'There's been a lot of hate in the past but this physical assault is a wake up call.

Later in the video, a yellow kitchen knife with what appears to be blood can be seen and an emergency responder attends to Obidi by spraying her with solution.
Numerous people have flooded the reply section, with one person writing: 'Bless you dear one,' while another said: 'So sorry this happened to you.'
Obidi later provided an update in the comments section by writing: 'Guys I’m in the hospital. Safety with travel is no longer a luxury but [a] necessity. The acid was salicylic and I was lucky. Love you guys.'
A Met Police spokesperson said: 'Police were called just after 13:40hrs on Thursday, 11 April to reports of an assault on Maiden Lane, WC2.
