March 12, 2021The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) launched a nationwide publicity and education campaign themed with "Following the Party's Leadership, Striving on the New Journey" in advance of International Women's Day which fell on March 8.
The campaign aims at celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and expanding Party history learning and education among women.
Various activities will be carried out by women's federations at all levels across the country, including telling stories about the Party's history by women college students, telling stories of outstanding women role models in the Party's history, promoting good family traditions, implementing relevant education activities among children and doing practical work for women.
Shen Yueyue, President of the ACWF, stressed thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches as well as studying the Party's history, understanding its theories, doing practical work and making new advances.
Shen called for efforts to guide women to follow the Party's leadership, to unite women to rally closely around the Party, and to encourage women to become builders of the great cause, advocates of civilized social conduct and brave strivers who pursue their dreams. She added that they should celebrate the Party's centenary with outstanding achievements and make more contributions on the new journey to fully build a modern socialist China.
